Shipping Policy

Last updated: 5 October 2026.

Shoppi is a marketplace. Items are dispatched by the merchant who sold them; the seller is named on the product page and in your order confirmation. Parcels that cross a customs border travel with Shoppi Logistics, our own service. This policy explains what you pay for shipping, how long delivery takes, and what happens when something goes wrong.

Delivery services and cost

When the parcel stays inside the seller's customs area (for example, from one EU country to another), you choose one of three services at checkout:

  • Economy — our lowest cost. Adds about 3 business days to the estimates below.
  • Standard — tracked. +9.00 per parcel on top of the Economy rate.
  • Express — tracked and prioritised. +30.00 per parcel on top of the Economy rate.
  • Items from different sellers ship separately, so a cart with two sellers is two parcels and the upgrade is charged twice. The exact amount is always shown at checkout before you pay.

These upgrades are 9.00 and 30.00 in EUR and USD, and £8.00 and £26.00 in GBP. In other currencies they are priced locally rather than converted, and the exact figure is shown at checkout before you pay (see our Payment Policy).

When the parcel crosses a customs border there is a single service, Shoppi Logistics, described below: no Economy or Express choice.

How shipping is calculated

Within the seller's country

You pay the shipping charge the merchant has declared for the item. You pay one shipping charge per merchant: adding more items from the same merchant does not add a second charge (the highest charge declared among those items applies); ordering from two merchants means two parcels, and you pay each merchant's shipping.

To another country in the same customs area

The European Union member states and Monaco form one customs area: no customs formalities apply between them. When an EU merchant ships to another country in this area, you pay the merchant's declared shipping charge plus a market difference that depends on the destination zone and the weight of the parcel. The difference is the gap between a domestic parcel and a parcel on that route in the carriers' market tariffs, and it is the same for every merchant. Amounts in EUR and USD:

Destination zone (difference added) up to 1 kg up to 2 kg up to 5 kg up to 10 kg up to 20 kg up to 31.5 kg
Neighbouring EU country (e.g. Italy to France, Germany to Austria) +6.00 +7.00 +8.00 +10.00 +13.00 +15.00
Rest of the EU (e.g. Italy to Germany, Spain to Poland) +9.00 +10.00 +12.00 +14.00 +19.00 +23.00
To or from Cyprus or Malta +14.00 +18.00 +22.00 +27.00 +37.00 +47.00

When the merchant has not declared a shipping charge

We apply the carriers' market rate for the route and weight. Within the seller's country that is the domestic rate below; to another country of the same customs area it is the domestic rate plus the difference shown above. Amounts in EUR and USD:

Route up to 1 kg up to 2 kg up to 5 kg up to 10 kg up to 20 kg up to 31.5 kg
Domestic market rate 5.90 6.90 8.90 11.90 15.90 21.90

The weight is the one the merchant declares for the product; where none is declared it is estimated from the item's price. Above 31.5 kg the goods travel as more than one parcel, each charged on the same table.

Across a customs border: Shoppi Logistics

When the parcel leaves the seller's customs area (for example, from the EU to the United Kingdom, Switzerland or the United States, or from the US to Canada), it is handled by Shoppi Logistics: we take care of the shipping, the customs clearance and the duties. You pay:

  • shipping at the carriers' market rate for the route and weight (table below) — the merchant's own domestic charge does not apply; and
  • a service fee of 30% of the value of the goods, with a minimum of 20.00 in EUR, USD or GBP (a rounded local equivalent in other currencies). It is charged once per order and covers customs handling and duties.
Shoppi Logistics route (EUR and USD) up to 1 kg up to 2 kg up to 5 kg up to 10 kg up to 20 kg up to 31.5 kg
Same continent (e.g. EU to UK, Switzerland or Norway; US to Canada) 21.90 25.90 33.90 44.90 61.90 79.90
To North America from another continent, and from North America to Europe 31.90 39.90 54.90 74.90 109.90 144.90
To Asia or the Gulf from another continent 34.90 43.90 59.90 84.90 124.90 164.90
All other routes (e.g. to South America, Africa or Oceania, or from Asia to Europe) 39.90 49.90 69.90 99.90 144.90 189.90

Shoppi Logistics is the only option for these parcels: the checkout shows one delivery line, shipping and service fee included, and there is no Economy or Express choice.

Amounts are charged in the currency of the store you are buying from. In currencies other than EUR, USD and GBP the tables above are priced from a fixed local price list rather than converted at the day's exchange rate.

The exact shipping cost is always shown at checkout, before you pay. Nothing is added afterwards. If the figure at checkout differs from this page, the checkout figure is the one you are charged — and please tell us, because that is a bug.

Processing time

Orders are prepared for dispatch by the merchant who sold the item, so processing time varies by seller. It is separate from, and additional to, the transit times below. Orders placed at weekends or on public holidays are processed from the next business day. Your dispatch confirmation email tells you when the parcel has actually left.

Transit times by destination

Estimates in business days after dispatch, for Standard and Shoppi Logistics. Economy adds roughly 3 business days to the upper figure; Express is faster.

Destination Business days
Domestic (within the same country) 3–5
Europe (EU, UK, Switzerland, Ukraine) 5–7
North America (US, Canada, Mexico) 7–10
Middle East 8–12
Asia 10–14
South America & Caribbean 10–15
Oceania (Australia, New Zealand, Fiji, PNG) 10–15
Africa 12–18

These are estimates, not guarantees. Customs inspection, weather and carrier backlogs can extend them.

Where we ship

We deliver to Europe, North America, South America and the Caribbean, Asia, the Middle East, Africa and Oceania. Inside the seller's customs area the merchant ships the parcel; across a customs border it goes with Shoppi Logistics. The countries available to you are listed in the delivery address step at checkout — if a country does not appear there, we cannot currently ship to it.

Tracking

Standard and Express include tracking. You receive a tracking reference by email once the parcel is dispatched, and you can follow the order from your account. Economy is our untracked service: you will receive a dispatch confirmation, but no tracking reference.

Customs duties and import taxes

Within the EU customs area (the EU member states and Monaco) there are no customs formalities and no import duties.

Parcels that cross a customs border travel with Shoppi Logistics, and we handle customs and duties: they are covered by the Shoppi Logistics service fee shown at checkout, and nothing is payable by the recipient on delivery. If a carrier asks you for a customs payment on a Shoppi Logistics parcel, do not pay it: contact [email protected] and we will sort it out.

Delays, lost and damaged parcels

If your order has not arrived within the estimate above, please contact [email protected] — we will trace it with the merchant and the carrier.

If a parcel is confirmed lost in transit, or arrives damaged, you are entitled to a replacement or a full refund including the original shipping cost. Please report damage as soon as possible after delivery, with photographs where possible, and in any case within the 14-day window set out in our Return & Refund Terms.

If a parcel never arrives at all, our non-delivery protection covers you for up to 60 days from the date of purchase, as set out in our Return & Refund Terms.

Incorrect addresses

Please check your delivery address before confirming payment. If a parcel is returned to the merchant because the address was wrong or incomplete, re-delivery is charged again. Contact us as soon as possible if you spot a mistake — we can sometimes correct it before dispatch.

Returns

Returning an item is covered by our Return & Refund Terms, which are the binding document. Unless the merchant's policy says otherwise, you are responsible for the cost and risk of return shipping.
